Replacement Glazing

As part of our standard refurbishment and repair works, we replace any broken glass with the
appropriate glazing in accordance with AS1288. Any window with glazing positioned below
800mm from floor level must be fitted with toughened safety glass to meet Health & Safety
regulations.

Similarly, any replacement glazing in doors where the glass is located below 1.5 metres from
ground level must also be toughened safety glass.

Acoustic Glazing Upgrade

As part of our acoustic treatment and soundproofing services, we can install Hush safety glass
into existing timber windows. This provides up to an additional 30% reduction in noise.

The glass contains an acoustic interlayer designed to target high-frequency sound—the most
sensitive range of human hearing—achieving levels of sound reduction that would normally
require much thicker and heavier glazing.

Thermal Glazing Upgrade

As part of our window refurbishment and High Performance Sealing System (HPSS) installation,
we can upgrade your windows with Low-E UV glass to enhance thermal performance.

Low-E glass features a specialised coating that allows light to pass through while reducing
radiant heat transfer, maximising natural light, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Combined Thermal & Acoustic Upgrade

Where both thermal and acoustic improvements are required, we can install Comfort Hush
glazing. This advanced solution combines a Low-E coating with an acoustic interlayer to
maximise overall window performance.

Double Glazing

In some cases, and depending on the thickness and configuration of the existing sashes, we can
install double-glazed units into the original window sashes. A detailed on-site assessment will
be carried out to determine feasibility.

Where this is not possible, we can manufacture new sashes designed to accommodate double
glazing and install them within the existing window frames.
